Proverbs 3

[3:1 – 8] My son, my teaching not do forget; but my commands let guard your heart; for length of days and years of life and peace they shall add to you. Mercy and truth not will forsake you; tie them on your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart… Trust to Jehovah with all your heart; and to your own understanding not do lean. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3

My son, my teaching not do forget; but my command let guard your heart; for length of days and years of life and peace they shall add to you. Mercy and truth not will forsake you; tie them on your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart; and find favor and wisdom good in the eyes of God and man. Trust to Jehovah with all your heart; and to your (own) understanding not do lean, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths Not do be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil.

Healing shall be to your navel and moisture to your bones. Honor Jehovah from your substance and from the first fruits of all your produce; and shall be filled your barns (with) plenty; and (with) new wine your wine vats shall burst.

The chastening of Jehovah, my son, not do despise; and not do loathe His correction; for whom loves Jehovah He corrects, even as a father the son he is pleased with Blessed (is) the man finding wisdom, and the man getting understanding For is better its gain than the gain of silver; and more than gold its produce.

(More) precious she than jewels; and all your delights not are likened with her Length of days (is) in her right (hand) in her left (hand) riches and honor. Her ways (are) ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. A tree of life she (is) for those taking hold on her; and those holding her (are) blessed.

Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; He fixed the heavens by understanding. By His knowledge the depths were broken up; and the clouds dropped down dew. My son, let not them depart from your eyes; keep sound wisdom and discretion; and they shall be life to your soul, and grace to your neck. Then you shall walk with safety (in) your way; and your foot not shall stumble. When you rest, not you shall dread and you shall lie and shall be sweet your sleep. Not do be afraid from dread sudden, and of the ruin of the wicked, for it is coming. For Jehovah shall be at your loins, and He shall keep your foot from capture.

Not do withhold good from its owners. When it is in the power of your hand to do (it). Not do plot against your neighbor evil and he dwells securely with you. Not do strive with a man without cause, if not he has dealt you evil. Not do envy against a man of violence, and not do choose among all his ways. For hateful to Jehovah (is) the devious but with the upright (is) His intimacy. The curse of Jehovah (is) on house the wicked; but the abode of the righteous He blesses. If at the scorners He scorns, yet to the lowly He gives grace.

Honor the wise inherit, but the foolish (are) exalting shame.
